As President of Warrington PCI, Adam is actively involved in all aspects of the company including maintaining strong client relations, developing new business and constantly looking at innovative ways to enhance our property management, strata management and leasing services. Adam has established long-standing working relationships with national and regional tenants, leading brokers and contractors throughout Western Canada. His nickname is “the fearless leader” as he loves a challenge and uncovering the opportunities that come with it. Adam holds a bachelor’s degree with Honours in Technology Management from BCIT and a diploma in Marketing Management from BCIT. Prior to joining Warrington PCI Management, Adam worked in senior management and sales management positions for leading technology companies over 11 years.
Lorna oversees strategic property management and operations for all WPM managed properties. She joined WPM in 2017 and brings over thirty years of property management experience. Her vast experience managing various types of retail and office real estate, includes: strip centres, mixed use centres, enclosed shopping centres, downtown retail and office buildings, community centres and suburban office buildings. In recent years, Lorna was located in Asia, primarily Shanghai, PRC, Seoul, South Korea and Hong Kong where she played a vital role in the development of management and operations procedures for mixed use projects in China, South Korea and Macau. Her experience overseas grants WPM a strong appreciation and comprehension of multicultural business dynamics. Lorna holds her Certified Shopping Centre Manager designation from the International Council of Shopping Centres.
Mackenzie oversees the accounting team at WPM. This includes the strategic direction and oversight of corporate accounting, operational accounting and treasury. Mackenzie brings over 15 years of accounting and finance experience specializing in the real estate industry. She has guided teams through implementation of new accounting software programs, ever-changing financial regulations and vastly growing and evolving business. Mackenzie is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA) and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Simon Fraser University.
Dale’s 45-year real estate career has spanned private and public markets, cross-cutting appraisal, asset, development and property management. Along with Stephen Duyvewaardt, Dale founded SDM Realty Advisors in 1994, building it into a company that manages office, retail and industrial assets owned by clients based in Canada, the United States, Europe and Asia. At WPM, Dale isfocused on the management of relationships with clients, the delivery of responsive service and ensuring a complete and total understanding of all aspects of the portfolio. He holds two degrees specializing in real estate: a Bachelor of Commerce from UBC and a Master of Science from MIT.
As Senior Vice President, Leasing, John leads our client focused team in all aspects of property leasing. Through a strategic approach to asset positioning, market knowledge and focused marketing initiatives John and his team deliver leasing results to our owner clients. John has spent 30 years in the commercial real estate business in both management and brokerage roles, and is well versed in property management, asset management, parking management and managing tenant and capital construction projects. John has led large and diverse teams across all property asset classes and is experienced in business development. He is well connected nationally and deeply connected in Western Canada to occupiers, brokers and owners of commercial real estate and leverages these relationships to yield results for our clients. John is well known and respected in the real estate community and the greater overall business community. He is a regular contributor to the Canadian Real Estate Forum and various industry organizations.
Kristen leads a team of dedicated finance and accounting professionals and is responsible for providing leadership and overall financial direction of the accounting and finance functions for PCI and WPM. She provides strategic direction and oversees financing and capital activities at PCI and WPM. Kristen obtained her Chartered Accountant designation at Deloitte and has held various senior finance roles in real estate, finance and infrastructure industries.
As Vice President, Property Management, Chris provides leadership to an accomplished property management team responsible for the operation and administration of more than 5 million square feet of office, retail, industrial and residential properties in BC. Since joining WPM in 2008, Chris has managed a large commercial portfolio, worked closely with our partner PCI Developments on multiple high-profile new developments, and overseen WPM’s strata division. His breadth of operational and regulatory knowledge combined with his capital project and construction experience are an invaluable asset to our clients and properties. Chris has a strong interest in the role property management plays in reducing the effects of climate change and spearheads WPM’s environmental sustainability initiatives. He is a member of the Canadian Green Building Council and sits on the City of Vancouver Commercial Buildings Carbon Retrofit External Advisory Committee as well as two advisory committees with BOMA BC. Chris is a graduate of Carleton University in Ottawa and the Sauder School of Business at UBC and is licensed as an Associate Broker, Rental Property Manager, Strata Manager and Real Estate Salesperson by BCFSA.
Laura has been in the commercial real estate industry since 1999 and over the past 22 years she has been involved in office, retail, industrial, commercial strata and residential rental. She oversaw the successful commissioning and tenanting of PCI’s award-winning mixed-use developments Cross Roads and Marine Gateway. Laura has a keen interest in leadership, new construction, sustainability initiatives, accessibility and ensuring service excellence is top of mind. She is a highly regarded and sought-after speaker at many local and regional industry events for her considerable experience and exceptional demeanour.
Jen is a member of the executive leadership team and has taken on the active role of identifying and executing on strategic objectives for WPM. She oversees WPM’s corporate governance, project management division, systems and technologies along with other key responsibilities. Jen attributes her success to being forward-thinking, having a strong work ethic, and fostering good relationships. Jen obtained her Chartered Accountant designation with PricewaterhouseCoopers and has over 12 years’ experience in accounting and operations of various asset classes within the real estate industry. Outside of WPM, Jennifer enjoys traveling, culinary adventures, and spending time with her young family.
John has over 35 years of commercial leasing, development and acquisitions experience. John has represented both landlords and tenants in identifying and securing real estate opportunities across Canada and in the U.S. John leads WPM’s retail leasing team and is personally active in retail leasing, acquisitions and dispositions for institutional and private owners throughout Western Canada. He is focused on project assessment, negotiating agreements and creating value for our clients. John has earned the designations of Certified Leasing Specialist (CLS) and Certified Retail Property Executive (CRX) from the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC).
Ian joined Stephen and Dale at SDM Realty in 2000 and has 28 years of experience in the real estate industry covering corporate, development and property management. Ian leads a large team of accountants at WPM to provide accurate and timely reporting to clients. Flexibility in reporting has been a keystone in meeting the needs of the various types of clients, from small family operations to large international property owners. Multiple accounting systems as required by clients are used to accomplish the reporting. Ian and his team work with many different audit firms to complete the building and operating expense audits for the properties. Ian holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Saskatchewan.
Kai oversees Human Resources and Property Administration functions. She’s also WPM’s go-to for just about everything else. Prior to WPM, Kai counseled managers in BC, ON, and MB as a Human Resources Generalist. Kai holds a Bachelors of Commerce, specializing in Human Resources Management, from the University of British Columbia and is currently a Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP).
As Director of Leasing, Jeff is responsible for the marketing and leasing efforts of a large portfolio of industrial, retail and office assets throughout British Columbia, primarily concentrated in the Lower Mainland. He works with the leasing team in marketing, research, budgeting and reporting and is closely involved with the operations and management staff for the assets he oversees. Jeff has over 12 years’ experience in commercial leasing previously holding roles at SDM Realty Advisors, Westbank Corp. and Reliance Properties. Jeff earned a Diploma in Commercial Real Estate from BCIT in 2005.
Sanjay is an integral part of WPM’s leasing team as he represents Landlords and Tenants in Lease negotiation and analysis. Sanjay specializes in retail and office leasing activities within WPM’s portfolio for institutional and private owners and is focused on maintaining his relationships by adding value for his clients and developing business by providing excellent service and real estate expertise.
As Senior Leasing Manager, Lenia represents private and institutional landlords in ensuring successful lease-up of its commercial real estate assets. She negotiates new lease transactions and renewals for a portfolio of office, industrial and retail assets. Lenia has over 17 years’ experience in real estate and has held positions in both the private and public sector including Avison Young, District of North Vancouver, and Fraser Health. Her comprehensive real estate expertise and dedication to client relationship management earns the trust of her clients.
As Director of Operations, Paul has over 25 years of experience in maintenance, engineering and facilities management with a focus on the safe and efficient operation of all our properties. Paul supports our Property Managers in the leadership of a skilled team of onsite Building Operators with a commitment to health, safety and the environment, and the continuous improvement of our managed properties for the benefit of our clients, our tenants and the public.
